Hello, I’m Daniel Villa, a graphic designer and digital artist! My journey as a university student at the University of Advancing Technology began with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Art and Animation. With a lifelong passion for video games and art, I decided to pursue that with game art and animation; however, as I progressed in my studies, I discovered a new passion that I loved. That being graphic design and digital art. I began taking courses where I utilized software and applications like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Ibis Paint X to create character designs and style guides as well as understand the principles and elements of design. I also produced art for the promotion of products and branding. Driven by this newfound passion of mine, I completed my journey as a game art and animation student with an Associate of Arts, and I am now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising Art, which perfectly encompasses my passions for graphic design and digital art, and I couldn’t be happier. So while I do possess experience in 3D modeling and game art, as you’ll see in my portfolio, my primary expertise and passion lie in graphic design and digital art.
